As in wrote something. Maybe Im getting lazier or I just dun feel like writing anything. I just feel so jaded. I dun even know what I wanna do or what I want. Everyday's like this lost soul wandering around. It's so mentally draining and physically undemanding. Maybe I've been thinking too much..Trying so much to focus that in the process I lose myself.. Got home ard 7 and since I tot I have some time to spare before going to teach gym, I ought to update my blog. *haa*
Have you ever been to a party, gathering or meet ups with long-lost friends and through their conversation you keep hearing names popping up like,"Oh ever heard of Mr so and so? I just got to know his son's friend and you know how big his house/car/whatnot is?" Familiar aint it?? I used to hate this a lot whenever people start doing this but today, I actually did the same thing and it was for a worthy cause. Read on to find out why.
Reached the company ard 615, waited 15 mins to get my pass cos they security was new, went up the department just to find the doors locked. Went down again and the security told me that the department isn't opened on weekends. *What!!?? The supervisor told me ytd that I could go over to pick up in the morning. Beads of perspiration began forming on my forehead as thousands of thoughts raced through my mind *
Me: "Oh, is that so?? Erm..But XXX told me I could come over and pick it up today. So no one is here today huh?" **I was just desperate..I knew nothing's gonna change the fact that no one's coming and I just asked in hope of finding some answers to this predicament**
Security:"That's right. Ok let me call my supervisor and ask if there's another way in"
Security: **On the phone** "Yah ok I'll tell him that."
Me:"No no..I mean is there any one I could talk to??"
Security:"You wait, he is coming over."
Me:**Thank god**
Security-in-charge: "No boy, there is no way I can open the door for you. Why don't you come back on monday or something??"
Me: **Eyes and mouth opened wide in horror** "Noooo!!!" **This time the no really came out in, almost a shriek. You know I don't usually shriek** "I mean erm can anyone help me open the door?? I just wanna get something my colleague left for me"
Security-in-charge: "Im sorry but I can't do that. No without someone from the office who is at least a supervisor." **I swear I really wanted to bite off his head, take him by the neck and strangle him at that point in time.**
Me: **Insides fuming. Gave my nicest and biggest smile** "Uncle, I really need this report and I gotta hand it in by today. **Can't you fucking see?? Hurhur?? &%$^$%# Just gimme the god damn keys or else Im so fucking gonna kill you!!! I didn't come all the way here just to come back another day** So could you list out any other possible options?? You know...Gavin Ong **The production head who scares the shit outta the entire production line including my manager** I used to work under him **I lied** Yah and now I'm back doing my FINAL YEAR PROJECT which is due today. So I need to get it today."
Security-in-charge:**Thinks for really long, looks at me from head to toe and up again** "Alright. Gavin right??"
Me: **YESSSSS!!!!** "Yup..Swa Kim **The VP of BAT** actually offered me a job back here once I grad in a few weeks. But I can't grad without my report can I??"
Security-in-charge: **Beads of perspiration rolled down his forehead even though he is in the air con office** "Erm..That's right. I'll get my guys to go up with you and open the doors for you right away."
Me: **Grins** That will be excellent. I'm already starting to sweat like a pig. I'll drop a msg to Gavin saying that you opened the doors for me.
And this was how I managed to get the guys to open the doors for me even though I knew chances of me coming back to pick it up next week are damn high. I had no choice but to drop fear-instilling names. My bad. *HAA* Will I still be a 'Caitao' in the future??
